Tasks

You are the central point of contact for guests throughout the night and ensure a seamless transition between operational days.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming late-arriving guests and assisting with check-ins and check-outs according to Marriott standards.
  • Acting as the primary contact for guest questions, requests or concerns during the night.
  • Performing the daily night audit and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed and balanced.
  • Preparing reports and documentation for the management and operational teams.
  • Monitoring hotel security and conducting regular checks throughout the property.
  • Responding calmly and professionally to emergencies or unexpected situations, following established procedures.
  • Handling telephone calls, emails and guest correspondence during the night.
  • Ensuring all Front Office procedures are completed accurately for a smooth handover to the morning team.
  • Maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel during overnight hours.

Profile

We’re not looking for the perfect résumé. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, remains calm under pressure and enjoys creating outstanding guest experiences even during the quietest hours.

Your profile:

  • Previous experience in Front Office, Reception, Night Audit or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
  • Experience with hotel systems such as Opera, Mews, Protel or similar PMS software is an advantage.
  • Strong administrative and numerical skills with great attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and make sound decisions when required.
  • Availability to work permanent night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A professional appearance and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Fluency in Dutch is essential, as you will work closely with a predominantly Dutch-speaking team and regularly communicate with local guests and suppliers.
  • Strong English communication skills are also required. Additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish are considered a plus
