This four-star hotel in Brussels recently opened its doors and stands out with its fresh, modern design. With more than 200 rooms, the hotel primarily caters to a corporate clientele, while increasingly attracting leisure guests as well.

The F&B department includes a restaurant, several meeting facilities and an extensive breakfast offering. To further strengthen and professionalise its daily operations, we are looking for an experienced F&B Manager to take the operational lead of the department.

The hotel is part of an international hotel group with properties in several European countries. The organisation combines an entrepreneurial approach with a strong focus on quality, professional service and an enjoyable guest experience.

As F&B Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the F&B department. You maintain a strong presence on the floor and play an active role in both the restaurant and kitchen operations.

• you take the operational lead of the hotel's various F&B activities
• you manage the F&B team (approximately 25 employees) and ensure smooth daily operations
• you bring structure and efficiency to the department and optimise existing processes
• you safeguard the quality of service, food and overall guest experience
• you work closely with the kitchen team and oversee the daily kitchen operations and administration
• you coach, motivate and develop your employees, building a strong team dynamic
• you oversee staff scheduling, orders, costs and budgets for both the kitchen and restaurant

We are looking for a strong F&B professional with an in-depth understanding of the hotel industry who feels at home in a role with significant responsibility:

• you have relevant F&B experience within the hotel industry, preferably in a management position
• you have strong operational knowledge of both restaurant and kitchen operations
• you have experience in leading and developing teams
• you are a true hands-on people manager who enjoys being present on the floor
• you have an eye for quality, efficiency and an excellent guest experience
• you are highly organised and know how to bring structure to a dynamic environment
• you have a good financial understanding and experience with budgets, cost control and staff scheduling
• you are a strong communicator, decisive and proactive
• you are flexible and comfortable working regular evening shifts
