A day in the life of

As the Hotel Finance Controller, you will collaborate with the Hotel General Managers and the Aimbridge team to oversee the financial operations of the Marriott properties in Ghent. This includes preparing budgets and forecasts, cost control and financial planning & analysis.

At the hotel level, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of hotel assets, reporting & presenting the financial state of the hotels to the General managers of the hotels, management company & the owners. You will also provide recommendations to improve hotel profitability.

As the primary contact for all financial and accounting matters, you will liaise with owners & Aimbridge, to contribute to a good cooperation and flow of information towards these shareholders

You will have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Finance Management role at Hotel level, ideally within a branded environment. As part of a multi-lingual team in the heart of a popular tourist destination, you will be proficient in English and preferably Dutch or French with the ability to collaborate and influence across all departments.
