Based in the heart of the historic city centre and situated on the banks of the Leie River in the medieval harbour of the city, the Ghent Marriott boasts 150 bedrooms, 9 meeting and events spaces, a destination restaurant and a terrace overlooking the canal.
Our other hotel, the Residence Inn, located in the south of Ghent near the Ghelamco Football Arena and major motorways, is a modern extended-stay hotel, boasting 105 self-catering apartments. Opened in 2019, Belgium’s first Residence Inn has quickly risen to become a leader in the local market. In addition to these two iconic hotels, our owners are in the process of developing an additional hotel & meeting centre that we aim to open in the next 2 years.
The hotels are managed by Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, is a division of the global Aimbridge Hospitality brand. We manage over 1,600 hotels and resorts worldwide that include big brands such as Hilton, Accor, Marriott and IHG as well as small independent hotels and everything in between, including a portfolio of prestigious hotels in Ghent.
To expand our business, we are now looking for a F&B Host.

Tasks
A day in the life of…
As all-round Food and Beverage Host, you will be the first point of contact for most of our guests at breakfast, in the Poppi Bar, in our Midtown Grill Restaurant and meeting rooms. Your role will be to welcome guests from all over the world with a friendly smile and exceptional service. You will work closely with your teammates to ensure that together each shift is smooth and efficient and deliver the best possible guest experience every time.
