Are you someone who comes alive at night and enjoys taking care of others? Then you might be the Night Auditor we’re looking for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent.

While the city sleeps, you ensure peace and reliability within the hotel. You’re the go-to person for our guests, keeping an eye on things and handling practical matters. You help create a pleasant and safe night for everyone.

What does a Night Auditor do?
You combine hospitality, a sense of responsibility, and an eye for detail. A snapshot of your tasks:

• Warmly welcoming guests and handling check-ins and check-outs during the night.
• Performing control rounds in and around the hotel to ensure safety and quiet.
• Monitoring who enters and exits the hotel.
• Operating the bar for late-night orders like drinks and small snacks.
• Carrying out minor cleaning tasks in the lobby or helping prepare for the breakfast team.
• Answering phone calls and emails, resolving questions or issues.
• Compiling daily statistical reports (e.g., occupancy rate, average rate, etc.).

In short: at night, you're the host, receptionist, security presence, and trusted figure all in one.

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience in Front Office, Reception, Night Audit or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• You remain calm, friendly, and attentive - even in the middle of the night.
• You enjoy working independently but know when to align with colleagues.
• Night and weekend shifts are no problem for you.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English.
• You’re comfortable with computers or learn new systems quickly.
  
  A diploma is less important than your reliability, sense of responsibility and service-minded attitude.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites opened in late 2024 in Ghent. The hotel is located in a convenient spot along the E17 (exit U.Z. Gent), with parking and excellent access for cyclists, e-scooters, and public transportation. We offer our guests a comfortable stay just outside the city center - close to everything Ghent has to offer.
