Hospitality Host(ess)

The following tasks will be part of your responsibilities

• Welcomes guests upon arrival with a warm smile, opens car doors, and discreetly handles their luggage.
• Escorts guests to the reception and ensures a smooth transition into check-in process.
• Delivers luggage to guest rooms while providing a personal introduction to the hotel’s history and in-room facilities.
• Spontaneously informs guests about hotel offerings such as the spa, restaurants, and upcoming events.
• Safely stores luggage and manages the baggage room with care and accurate administration.
• Tags luggage correctly and monitors quantities to prevent loss or confusion.
• Assists with parking and retrieving guest vehicles in collaboration with the valet team. Oversees the seamless arrival and departure of groups and coaches, paying attention to detail and timing.
• Stands ready to answer guest inquiries, providing maps, city information, and tailored recommendations.
• Offers concierge-related services that enhance the guest experience, from restaurant bookings to arranging transportation.
• Provides umbrellas and other amenities to ensure guest comfort, even in bad weather.
• Accompanies guests to various locations within the hotel, including breakfast, events, spa, or reception.
• Politely engages with guests at the entrance, safeguarding a sense of security and exclusivity.
• Collaborates closely with Front Office, Concierge, Guest Relations to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintains the entrance area, lobby, parking and forecourt in a clean and presentable condition at all times.
• Represents the hotel as an ambassador of hospitality and professionalism.

Your job profile as Hospitality Host(ess):

• Has experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
• Driven and ambitious, with a natural flair for consistently exceeding guest expectations.
• Possesses excellent social and communication skills, both with guests and colleagues.
• Flexible and able to remain calm under pressure or in unexpected situations.
• Detail-oriented, precise in execution, and values punctuality.
• Displays a spontaneous and professional appearance that conveys confidence and class.
• Adopts a proactive and structured working style, always thinking one step ahead.
• Known for a warm, guest-focused attitude and a genuine interest in delivering memorable experiences.
• Thinks in solutions and contributes actively to a strong and supportive team dynamic.
• Embraces a hands-on mentality and isn’t afraid to take initiative.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in French is a strong asset.
• Physically capable of performing the role in an active and dynamic setting.
• Radiates enthusiasm and positively influences both colleagues and guests.
