The hotels are managed by Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, is a division of the global Aimbridge Hospitality brand. We manage over 1,600 hotels and resorts worldwide that include big brands such as Hilton, Accor, Marriott and IHG as well as small independent hotels and everything in between, including a portfolio of prestigious hotels in Ghent.
Due to internal progression, we are now looking for a Hotel Sales Executive with a hunter profile and experience in the long-stay segment, with a passion for sales and hospitality, to grow business for the exceptional properties.
A day in the life of…
The ideal candidate will have a strong hunter approach to sales, demonstrating a proactive and strategic mindset in generating new business opportunities
What do we need from you?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- Proven track record in a sales role within the hospitality industry, demonstrating a hunter approach to sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.

About us
Residence Inn Ghent by Marriott is a spacious extended-stay hotel with 105 rooms, located in the Akkerhage business center and opened in 2019. It’s a privately owned Marriott brand and part of a group of three - soon to be four - Marriott hotels in Ghent. Our neighbors include the Holiday Inn Express & Suites and the upcoming Courtyard (opening in October), with the Marriott Ghent in the city center.
We are looking for someone to fully focus on proactive sales for our hotel and help grow our Residence Inn family.

Our location is easily accessible no matter where you're coming from. Residence Inn Ghent by Marriott is located at Akkerhage 2A, 9000 Ghent, right off exit 9 (U.Z. Ghent) on the E17.
Coming by car? We offer spacious parking.

Public transport? Tram and bus stops are within walking distance, with smooth connections via De Lijn.
