• Places orders, coordinates orders and deliveries
• Place orders with suppliers; handle urgent deliveries
• Maintains contact with suppliers
• Monitors deliveries and follows up on any problems reported by reported by the relevant managers
• Checks invoices in accordance with purchase and delivery orders and delivery notes; reports deviations and solves problems
• Controls data processing and item coding, assortments, stock, etc.
• Compiles statistics based on various data to develop sales strategy
• Assists with provisional and final budget implementation
• Gathers information for major purchasing contracts and keep related files
• Requests samples and interviews representatives
• Requests quotations from suppliers and compares prices
• Analyzes market trends
• Provides purchasing advice to department representatives, makes purchasing proposals and suggestions

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Proficient in Inventory Management Software and Restaurant POS systems
• Fluent in French and English, Dutch recommended
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proficiency in Office 365 is required
• Affinity with a more refined lifestyle

Candidate profile
Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, supply chain management or hospitality
• Preferably 3 years’ relevant experience in hotel cost control and purchasing.
