In Q3 of this year Borealis Hotel Group will open Holiday Inn Express Brussels Airport and Aparthotel Adagio Access Brussels Airport. We are now seeking to appoint an established Cluster General Manager to lead our teams in both hotels.

The Holiday Inn Express Brussels Airport is being built in an ideal location. The largest Brussels airport is only 5 km away and the train station is only a 7-minute walk away.
But also interesting sights, the NATO headquarters and the city centre of Brussels can be reached quickly and easily. The hotel will have 208 rooms and will offer breakfast and light meals to their guests all day.

The modern Aparthotel Adagio Access Brussels Airport combines everything that travellers need. Enjoy the advantages of a hotel with the comfort of your own apartment. Added to this is the ideal location of the Aparthotel Adagio access. The largest Brussels airport is only 5 km away and the train station is only a 7-minute walk away. But also interesting sights, the NATO headquarters and the city centre of Brussels can be reached quickly and easily. The hotel will have 160 apartments and will offer breakfast and light meals to their guests all day.

You will:

• Have a strong focus on the delivery of exceptional guest care, as well as the commercial performance of the business.
• Develop your knowledge of the local corporate market to achieve sales in a competitive environment and maximise on all revenue streams.
• Be an ambassador for the guest journey and ensure brand values and service behaviours are delivered consistently in a professional and friendly environment.
• Lead and develop a great team across all departments to achieve exceptional performance across the key indicators of profit, people and RGI.
• Have strong financial and commercial drive with a proven track record of success and results in order to develop a great business.

As General Manager your role will be to lead your team to deliver key target in line with brand standards.
To be successful in this role you will have:

• An already exceptional track record driving business
• Experience working in a branded hotel, preferably within IHG and/ or Accor
• A strong commercial acumen.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels
• Experience with opening a hotel.

Overall, your ability to create a culture of team engagement and service excellence will be key to this role along with your aspiration to grow the business.
