Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent is looking for a flexible and service-minded Hotel Receptionist who combines day and night shifts and ensures a smooth guest experience at any hour.

As a receptionist, you are the heart of our hotel. From busy mornings to calm nights.

• Warmly welcoming guests and handling check-ins & check-outs
• Providing information about the hotel and Ghent
• Answering calls and emails professionally
• Resolving guest requests and issues efficiently
• Handling reservations and payments

Daytime Support

• Assisting with breakfast operations when needed
• Supporting bar service (drinks & small snacks)
• Keeping reception and lobby tidy and welcoming

Night Responsibilities

• Ensuring safety and security during night hours
• Performing control rounds in and around the hotel
• Monitoring access and guest activity
• Preparing daily reports (occupancy, revenue, statistics)
• Working independently while keeping overview of operations

• You remain calm, friendly and solution-oriented.
• You enjoy working independently but know when to align with colleagues.
• Night and weekend shifts are no problem for you.
• You're looking for a full-time or part-time job (38h or fewer).
• You speak fluent Dutch and English.
• Experience in hospitality, reception or security is a plus, especially night shift experience.
• You’re comfortable with computers or learn new systems quickly.
  
  A diploma is less important than your reliability, sense of responsibility and service-minded attitude.
